Reflecting on Ancient Egyptian history and craftsmanship, fabrics are hand dyed and hand printed using botanical elements hand-picked directly from nature.
Inspired by the Kalasiris dress – a distinctive yet diverse Ancient Egyptian garment – pieces are designed to be multi-functional; adapting to your individuality and style.
Through exploring a slow pace in today’s rushing environment, YARAISMAIL designs are refined with time, telling a story that voices cultural inspirations borrowed from around the world.
YARAISMAIL is a brand fully focused on implementing a regenerative sustainable path within the fashion industry, and hopes in doing so our customers further value our ethos and identity.
YARAISMAIL was established in 2019, after namesake brand designer, founder and Creative Director, Yara Ismail – a graduate from Melbourne Fashion Institute in Australia, and recipient of the 2017 Designer of the Year Award.
Upon showcasing the brand’s first collection at MFI’s 2017 runway, Yara was accepted to participate in the first Eco Fashion Week in Australia (EFWA) and later named a RAW Artist where the brand showcased at the 2018 RAW Magnify runway event.
Since then YARAISMAIL launched in Egypt, presented the S2 collection at Torino Fashion Week 2019 in Italy, featured in Vogue Arabia’s 2020 Hope issue with cover celebrity Hend Sabri, and selected by BBC Arabia as one of the region’s spokespeople on sustainable fashion. The brand has furthermore collaborated and featured on multiple shoots and media outlets locally and internationally.
