Our garments are designed to be comfortable and functional, where every part of the garment serves a purpose. While our size chart may be limited in sizes, our designs are made to be body inclusive, allowing us to produce small but exclusive runs.

YARAISMAIL collections are made in Egypt, encouraging and supporting local manufacturing, talent and craftsmanship. Our pattern making and sampling is produced in-house, as well as most of our production, allowing us to be efficient with our quality control and maintain a high standard of finishing.

Working closely with our small team allows us to monitor our carbon footprint, reduce our waste and ensure we follow our zero-waste mission. Initial manufacturing toiles and samples are upcycled instead of discarded. We additionally produce designs made to order; supporting the slow fashion ethos, as well as reducing waste and excess production stock ending up in landfills.

Our pattern making and branding raw materials are made from recycled paper, sourced ethically and locally. Instead of producing customised care labels, we have designed generic labels, allowing us to make more use of what is already in stock, minimising paper waste. Our fabric labels are made and sourced locally from recycled materials.

When caring for your YARAISMAIL pieces we recommend using environmentally friendly detergents, hand washing when possible, and line or flat drying. While dry cleaning can often be more convenient, chemical solvents used can be toxic to human health and harmful to the environment, therefore spot cleaning or hand washing is more considerate of our environmental impact.

We brand ourselves as a regenerative and circularly sustainable luxury brand that cares for its impact and therefore its customers’ impact. We hope our transparency inspires you to shop consciously and live sustainably.

We conduct in-depth research on materials used to produce our trims and fabrics, to ensure we are constantly on the look for recyclable or biodegradable items to support using processes and materials with the lowest environmental footprint to combat the negative effects of climate change.

Inspired by Ancient Egyptian research and artisanal craftsmanship, YARAISMAIL incorporates naturally and botanically hand dyed and printed textiles, which research shows may have Ayurvedic benefits. In addition to their tactile and non-allergenic effects, they are derived from natural resources, causing no disposal issues as they are biodegradable. Unlike synthetic dyes, botanical dyes are non-toxic, have no negative impacts on air, and use approximately 70% less water and 60% less energy. Water used during the dye process is discarded in our studio dye garden, which further empowers our regenerative model.

Following our zero-waste mission, production cutting waste is upcycled into new textiles that are reintegrated into collections.

The YARAISMAIL vision includes collaborations within diverse industries. To further our outlook on sustainable fashion we have chosen to offer an array of services that encourage other businesses and artists to incorporate sustainable values within their work. We value and look forward to collaborations that help raise awareness on regenerative sustainable approaches and duties towards our environmental impact.

Our natural dye raw materials and minerals are sourced in various ways; grown in-house, foraged locally and gathered from our collaborations with flower vendors, green houses, and the events, food and agricultural industry businesses, who provide us with their plant waste and by-products – giving a second life to items that would otherwise be discarded.

Aiming to raise awareness about the numerous sustainable benefits of naturally dyed and imprinted textiles – through collaborative work within a variety of industries – we additionally design and produce textiles for home interior products.
